  • CLASSROOMS                                                                                                                      The classrooms at Heathcote P.S. are modern, attractive and well resourced. All of the classrooms have wet areas for visual arts activities, and access to computers to support learning. The Kindergarten classrooms are generous double size rooms, which allow for many beneficial learning experiences. Two primary classes also occupy double rooms to cater for students with special needs.

    COMPUTER ROOM                                                                                                                The computer room has been established in the same building as the library and is accessed daily by all students for the development of computer competencies from Kindergarten to Year 6.

    LIBRARY                                                                                                                            The school library is well resourced and all students enjoy reading and researching in weekly library lessons. The students may also borrow books to take home each week to either enjoy with other family members or to read alone.

    HALL                                                                                                                                      The school's hall is used extensively for assemblies,cultural activities, rehearsals, dances, visiting speakers and class P.E. activities. It incorporates a very well equipped canteen.

    PEACE GARDEN                                                                                                                   The Peace Garden comprises white flowering plants, shrubs and trees. Students are very aware of its significance and take advantage of the tranquil setting.

    BUSH TUCKER GARDEN                                                                                                     The 'Burrawang' is a learning circle set in a bush tucker garden. It started as a Student Representative Council initiative in 2002. The garden was created by interested parents, teachers and children during a weekend working bee. Each class was given a plant to install and help maintain.
